Elizabeth Maishlish graduated Magna Cum Laude from York University in 2001 with a B.A. (Hon.) in Communications and Political Science. She continued her studies at Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her LL.B. in 2004. During her studies, Ms. Maishlish wrote articles for numerous local newspapers and was a contributing reporter with the York University community radio station.

Following her call to the Bar in 2005, Ms. Maishlish returned to practice civil litigation and family law with the firm that she articled with. Shortly thereafter, she joined Adler Bytensky Prustchi as an associate and has dedicated her practice exclusively to criminal defence. She has applied her earlier legal experience to the benefit of accused persons charged with various offences. Ms. Maishlish has successfully represented accused persons in a broad spectrum of cases from inception through to completion. She remains committed to presenting the strongest criminal defence for accused persons and advocating on behalf of their legal rights.
